OK, but limited

Does not go through 2 walls well. Otherwise, fine. My advice, spend $5 more and get the 5dBi model which is identical Except for the attached antenna which is easily twice as good.

Works for connection PAINFULLY Slow!

This works well as advertised... I guess I never really appreciated how fast 300MB downloads are when cut in half to 150... Signal is good and strong pick up inside building in corner away from router... this helps with that... but try to down load anything more than 100kb ARRRGGGGGG! will only use when Built in ASUS wireless acts psychotic unfortunately too often

HiRO H50193 Wireless Network Adapter is a Bust

Bought this item with great expectations. In spite of several hours trying to configure this product, I could not get it work. It would recognize the wireless networks available, but no matter what I tried, it would not connect. Very disappointed with this product, would not recommend.

FROM 1 BAR TO 5

Antenna gets the signal boosted from local apartment house router. Online access enabled. Win 7 Starter netbook didn't have driver. Used USB flash drive to transfer driver from WIN 8.1 laptop download. Coupled with 39' USB BOOSTER cable to get antenna from computer to accessible signal location. Grrreaaat.

Works great on Linux too!

I just plugged it in and it worked. No drivers needed. I'm running Linux Mint 17. I'm downstairs from the router, and it still says 100% signal strength.
