I've been using this same model for the past 10 years at least. I really don't feel right with any other mouse. Someone at Logtech nailed it with this mouse and I haven't seen anything top it since. Perfect hand fit, perfect responsiveness and I LOVE that the wheel toggles from notched roll to free spinning.

Good name would be: 30 Day Mouse
I am on my third mouse. the Lasers are either not powerful enough or poor qualuity. They need to be physically cleaned about every 15 minutes of use with a Q-Tip or the response becomes very slow and eventually after 30 minutes or so non responsive. The cursor movement out of the box or within about a week becomes 'jittery.' You move the mouse straight and try and follow a straight line and it will go down the line like a drunken sailor, it will not follow a straight line. It constantly goes from one side of the line to another. I have tried every possible adjustment and it never gets better. If that is not bad enough, after about 30 days it will either quit entirely or become so irratic it is unuseable. Software updates so far have not solved ANY of the issues.
It is a shame because the mouse has 5 buttons and a two-way scrolling wheel.

No scrolling problem!
Thank you triaxident and Brad. The button on top of the mouse switches from hyperfast scrolling to conventional click scrolling. Easy fix for those who prefer regular speed scrolling.

Excellent Product !!!
This mouse is one of the best you can get for the price. It is extremely responsive and very comfortable to use. There is a button on top to switch between Hyperfast ball bearing scrolling and conventional click scrolling, so I don't know what some of the other reviews are complaining about. I definitely recommend this mouse.
