Read the Fine Print
The battery is not replaceable. (see their own spec sheet Generally sealed lead acid batteries last 3 - 5 years. The way the AVR feature works, the unit doesn't function with a dead battery. Thus, this is designed obsolete item with a MAX 5 yr life time. And (again read the specs) it gives you about 2-3 mins of runtime before dying in a blackout. After a couple of full drains it's toast. Think of it as an affordable AVR and bare minimum (disposable) battery back up
This device cannot handle powering my gaming PC, monitor, external hard drive, and a network switch. Only powers my PC or else I get the annoying overload beep. Do not buy
Works as advertised
This is my second unit. The first one lasted about three years and I bought this one because it was cheaper than replacing the battery on the first one. This new one has a battery silence feature which I find as essential. I am using this to back up my phone system in power outages so am not worried about it loosing power.
Mine didn't have USB port
I just received it today and to my surprise it does NOT have a USB port to PC as it should therefore it is useless for my needs. Be aware if this is also a reason for which you're buying it. This should be the right item CyberPower 425VA. I haven't used it yet so I can't review its performance.
I would never plug any of my electronics without UPS protection. This was a great deal and delivered fast.
