i previously had 3 gts 240s anything would be an upgrade to those but i got this card and it works amazingly every game max setting no problem the first thing i did when i got it was overclock it its easy to overclock and use, the only downside is when your playing a demanding game like bf3 the fans get alittle loud but nothing really and i keep my pc right next to me on the desk but any real gamer has a nice headset that blocks out all other sound and i cant even hear the card in a game so over all its a great product
AMD Just keeps getting better with every release of drivers. They take a little getting use to after being with Nvidia so long. If you like games, the bundle & card is a hard to beat combo. just be prepared to get your drivers straight. Can be a little noisy, but do yourself a favor & get MSI Afterburner & turn your fan profile down & you should be good. Good Luck & Game On!!!
Great, but loud, card
This was coming from a 560ti. I'm getting about double the frame rates I was on the 560ti while being able to bump everything from high, to now max settings (including AA). It's nice, and I feel like it will continue to be a great performer for a while yet. A great buy at 350. Just be sure to know that this car is very loud while gaming. If you want quiet go Gigabyte. However, this card does not disappoint and is the best value 7970 on the market at the moment. Oh. These are voltage locked btw, so you won't be getting super overclocks out of them.
The 7970 is probably one of the best investments I've made on my computer to date. Runs quietly and installation was easy. I'm playing Planetside 2 at ultra with a breezey 50-60fps. Definitely a must-buy!
