This cables are low cost but perform as they should, no problems at all.
You get what you pay for
and what you get isn't a whole of anything. This cable is very cheaply made and quite frankly doesn't work. My application was attaching a new sata hard drive to my motherboard, I picked up this cable at the store, popped it in and nothing. Made sure it wasn't the drive, by sacrificing a sata cable from an old computer and that cable worked, after I returned the cable, spent a little more money and bought a better cable via a different manufacturer. As for the build quality the ends are this oddly textured plastic with no locking mechanisms and the sides where you grip them has a lot to be desired from a design perspective. Again you're better off spending a few bucks more for a better sata cable, you'll have less of a headache in the long run.
It does what it is supposed to do.
I didn't know about having a clip being a feature until I read the other reviews. I would have liked that. And yes, it is rather stiff. But it does transmit the data, which is the main point.
A little on the pricy side but an excellent cable that worked just fine.
