Works as advertised!!
Nice lite metal case, pretty simple to install your hard drive in. Fired right up and never missed a beat, no problems being recognized by my computer. Would recommend this to anyone wanting a simple lite weight case.
works as advertised.
If you do not put the disk drive in the case with the 4 screws provided then it will rattle. Very simple and easy to use. Now I just need to figure out how to delete some files from the drive. Some I can and some I can not. It has to be security.
Great Hard Drive Case
Everything is A-Okay
I liked this enclosure
This enclosure turned out to be better than I expected. Considering it was only $20 It looks nice and is working well. One review I read said the drive was not held tightly in the enclosure and rattled around. I did not find this to be true. Sliding the side panels revealed holes to attach the drive to the enclosure with the included screws which held it tightly. The only problem I had was actually sliding the drive into the box as the tolerances were very tight. Over all I am pleased with this and may buy another for a another drive I have.
Drive fits loose?
Yes, when I put my drive in the case, it was loose. I put some rolled up paper towel behind the drive and it works fine. It is not loose at all, now. The unit works exactly as expected. For the money, it is hard to beat. I am happy with it.
