never got to use it.
i plugged it in and could not get it to work. brought it to a friend who is computer smart and he said that this reader was not reading and must not be working. i had thrown away my paperwork that came with it (not able to return it without paperwork?) so it is sitting in my drawer as junk! very disappointed in the product.
Great Product
Great plug and play. Plugged it in watched it setup, started using it right away. I needed it for a camera card my sister-in-law had. She braught her card over and no problem again. It's definately a need to have and now I have it....
Another mediocre card reader
Doesn't anyone make a good card reader anymore? Recognized by computer (XP, Vista, 7) only occasionally. Recognizes card on first try only occasionally. Super-super short USB connections require an extension if you want to keep it plugged in but out of the way (i.e., a rear-case port) Cheap. And works that way.
Works most of the time.
You get what you pay for. This is an inexpensive card reader add-on. When plugged in there are 4 new lettered drives appearing on explorer. Most of the time it reads the cards, but there has been a time or two that I have had to reinsert the card several times to finally get to work. It is cheaply made and is better than nothing...
disappointing
Only works occasionally - most of the macs that I use won't even recognize it and it will only recognize some of the cards that I have. Inconsistent.
